(01) Purpose
This project was built to create a modern e-commerce site using Next.js and Sanity. The main goal was to practice implementing essential features like cart management, favorites, and localization, while ensuring a fast, responsive, and seamless user experience.
(02) Challenge
The main challenges of this project included integrating cart management and favorites in a smooth and intuitive way, implementing localization for multiple languages and currencies, and ensuring the site remained fast and fully responsive. Additionally, the checkout process was simulated, requiring careful design to demonstrate the flow without a real payment system.
(03) Solution
To address the challenges, I used Next.js for fast server-side rendering and Sanity for dynamic content management. Cart and favorites were implemented on the front-end for a smooth user experience. Localization and multi-currency support were integrated to handle international users. The checkout process was simulated to demonstrate the flow without connecting a real payment system. Images and components were optimized to ensure performance and responsiveness across all devices.
